Mazurek Educational Consulting

Mazurek Educational Consulting is devoted to providing services to educational institutions for improving instruction, operations, management, training and development. I bring nearly 40 years of experience as a teacher, counselor, school and district administrator, mentor and school board member. In addition I bring theoretical and practical experience to the often difficult areas of school finance, technology, staff and parent training.  I have written many school improvement plans, technology plans, developed safety and security plans and have hands on experience in planning and opening a "new school". As mentor and coach, I helped several aspiring and new principals become successful administrators. I am registered to provide Professional Development Activities for State of Illinois - Continuing Professional Development Unit credits.

             John Mazurek - Photography             Spectrum Gallery - Racine WI

John Mazurek has been a film photographer for over 30 years. After his retirement from the Chicago Public Schools he and his wife moved from Chicago to their current home in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Recently, he has changed his method of capturing an image and now is all digital. Technology has finally matched the quality of film with digital imaging. Using a Canon 20D, 8.2 mega-pixel camera and a variety of Ultrasonic and Image-stabilizing lenses he can capture his subject in remarkable detail yet still offer the artistic capabilities of a standard 35 mm SLR camera. He has recently joined the artists at Spectrum Gallery in the DeKoven Center, 600 21st Street, Racine, WI. 262-634-4345.  His work along with the other artists can be seen on weekends or by appointment.
